Malvern’s Field of Remembrance
8 November @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Malvern Town Council has organised a public act of remembrance 3 days before Armistice Sunday where wooden crosses will be planted in the grounds of Malvern Public Library to commemorate 450 Malvern men (and women) who lost their lives in the Great War. Many of the crosses will be placed by descendants of these men and the rest will be planted by 150 school children who have volunteered to take part.
All Winter Lectures are held at Christchurch Hall in Avenue Road, Great Malvern, unless otherwise stated.
Lectures begin at 7.30 and admission is free to Friends of Malvern Museum or £2 for visitors.
Refreshments are served at the end of the evening for a small charge.
