
Lecture: Small Pits, Big Ideas: Investigating Worcestershire’s medieval villages by Nina O’Hare

This lecture is sure to enlighten and excite the audience as they learn more about the origins, history and culture of rural settlements in the north of the county, made possible by excavating ‘small pits’ in people’s gardens and surrounding area. The project is coordinated by the Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service who trained and supported people from the local communities.
All Winter Lectures are held at Christchurch Hall in Avenue Road, Great Malvern, unless otherwise stated.
Lectures begin at 2.30 and admission is free to Friends of Malvern Museum or £3 for visitors.
Refreshments are served during the meeting for a small charge.
