
Lecture: Great Malvern Station: The influence of Dr Gully and Lady Emily Foley by Michael Pritchard

Great Malvern Station always attracts a good deal of interest, and in this talk Michael will share his research into the early days of the station’s life. He will show how our famous Water Cure doctor and the formidable Lady of the Manor influenced its design and purpose in the 1860s. Michael is chairman of the Malvern Railways group and recent research has made available much new and fascination material
All Winter Lectures are held at Christchurch Hall in Avenue Road, Great Malvern, unless otherwise stated.
Lectures begin at 2.30 and admission is free to Friends of Malvern Museum or £3 for visitors.
Refreshments are served during the meeting for a small charge.
